 At Diamond In The Rough, our mission is to enrich the lives of people of the African diaspora by reconnecting them to their roots and heritage. As a non-profit organization, we are profoundly committed to bridging the gap between the children of the African diaspora and their ancestral home, Africa.

We envision the diaspora as foster children in a vast system, with some achieving success but many experiencing untold challenges. Regardless of individual achievements, there exists a fundamental need for reconnection to the roots—Mother Africa. Our mission is to facilitate this essential reconnection by providing educational and cultural trips to select countries within the African continent. These trips are transformative experiences that delve deeply into Africa's rich history, vibrant culture, and diverse traditions.

Understanding the persistent void left by separation from Africa, we aim to make these journeys accessible, particularly for those facing financial barriers.
